because they are mirrors of our
souls. We are probably most alive
when immersed in them without
regard to our thoughts.

There is a hidden depth to them,
which seems to reflect the
tranquility, or disturbances, of our
minds.

Contemplating either has the ability
to affect our moods, rather like
listening to music or reading a poem.
